Don't you just love getting even more
opportunities to hear from me? Mothers Day and now a special Wednesday
P-day. It was fun talking to you all on Sunday/Monday. This morning we
went to the temple, and it was Sister Pearl's first time in the Hong
Kong Temple. The Hong Kong Temple really is beautiful inside. It's
probably my favorite temple that I've been in so far. There was a giant
group of students from some BYU business study abroad, so we had a full
English session, which was super weird. It was probably the most white
people I've seen in one place at one time in quite awhile, aside from
missionary meetings. They were all like "Yay missionaries!" and we were
like "Ew, white people." Haha.
Speaking of missionary meetings, though, we found
out that next weekend Elder Neil L Anderson is coming to Hong Kong!
He'll be visiting the mission a week from Friday. Yeah!
Things are going well here! Jim Jimuih and Wong Jimuih
are both on track to get baptized in June, which we're super excited
about! Something about Jim Jimuih reminds me of Lynda, so I obviously
like her. She makes me laugh.
We also had a girl named Kammy come to church on
Sunday. She met the elders in the ward next door last week, and she
decided to come to church on Sunday. When she walked into Relief
Society, she found out her best friend is in our ward! It was awesome!
Missionary dream-- built in fellowshipper who's also going on a mission
in September, so hopefully is more excited about sharing the gospel!
They're even going to Taiwan together for a week! She's totally going to
get baptized! Haha.
Well, not much really has happened in the past 2
days, just the normal. When finding on Monday we did happen to find a
former investigator, a really good Mandarin potential investigator that
we had pulled back to the church before but then hadn't been able to get
a hold of again, and then one of the Elders' investigators that they
haven't been able to see for a month. It was pretty cool as far as a
finding day went. It's really cool who you meet when the Spirit guides
you!
I hope everyone's doing well! Especially Daniel-- I
want him to not have to retake freshman year from being sick all the
time, because that would stink.
