Hi!
Literally less than 5 minutes. REALLY need to learn to budget my time better.
This week was good! Not too much.
When trying to pull people back for church tours, I met this lady
who works at the Masaratti store next door to the church, who was so
excited to find out that she could come to church for an hour at our
church before going to work on Sunday! Yay! She told me a really
touching story about how she came to believe in Jesus Christ. She said
one time when she was in Italy, she was feeling very down and lonely,
and she went into a church nearby and started praying and telling God
how she felt. When she opened her eyes, she saw a picture of Jesus
Christ there and felt an overwhelming feeling of peace, which she took
as God telling her that Jesus Christ was the path she needed to take in
order to find more happiness in her life. As she told me this story, her
eyes started welling up with tears, and I definitely felt the Spirit.
It was a really neat moment where we both just rejoiced together in how
merciful Lord is to us. It especially struck me how willing God is to
answer the prayers of all of His children, no matter who they are, what
they previously believed in, etc. And that He will always direct them to
Jesus Christ. It was a really spiritual moment for the both of us. She
came to church Sunday! Yay! She doesn't live in our area, unfortunately,
but I'm so glad I can meet her! So great.
